Spring Cleaning

The phrase Spring Cleaning conjures childhood

memories of deep cleaning baseboards, using

newspaper and vinegar on windows, vacuuming

draperies, and smelling PineSol and Bleach. Can

anyone relate? Those days are long gone and now my

Spring cleaning consists of running my Roomba and

then quickly running outdoors to start preparing my

flower beds and dreaming of beautiful blooms!

I have always been drawn outdoors. I love the promise

of new life each Spring. I love the smell of freshly

turned soil, the sounds of birds chirping, and the feel of

those newly blooming daffodils in my hand. This brings

me joy!
